Fender brand

 

 Fender brand 70's "F" tuning keys-Chrome, with screws and press fit bushings. Six keys, aches stamped with the letter F. This type tuner was used from late 1967 until 1979.

We checked these against a set of 1968 Fender tuners and the specs were very close. Post size is same as Kluson tuners, not mini's. They will work with adapter bushings (sold separately) if the neck has holes enlarged for mini tuners.

Fender brand 70's "F" tuning keys-Lightly aged chrome, 6 keys with screws and press fit bushings. Each key is stamped with the letter F. This type tuner was used from late 1967 until 1979. These tuners are heavy chrome, so they can't be aged very much.

Since the American Standard tuners have two posts that hold the tuning machine body onto the neck, tuner screw holes will need to be added to the headstock.

Replacement Tuning Machine Bushings, Buttons & Screws
*TIP: On older guitars, the tuning key holes in the neck may have enlarged slightly through normal wear. Here's an easy fix: Wrap the part of the bushing that goes through the neck with masking tape.

Nickel replacement tuning key bushings, set of 6-press fit. Shown above, top. These are slightly larger in circumference and longer in length than TK65N. These fit Gotoh Kluson tuners and some Authentic Kluson tuners from the early sixties. Neck pegholes should be 11/32" - inside diameter 1/4" - Total length .37
