Epiphone
guitars were manufactured in several different countries
over the years, sometimes making it difficult to find the correct
part. Many Gibson and Epiphone repair parts are not interchangeable,
even if the Epiphone guitar has a truss rod cover that says "Gibson
Les Paul". Epiphones were made in Japan from about 1970. In
the late 1980's some models were made in Korea as well as other
countries. From 2002 most models are made in China. Wikipedia
has an interesting article about where Epiphones were made and how
to identify the model. We have posted below the limited info we
have regarding which part fits which year guitar.
