BN2219T This nut is a little easier to install without nut files than the preslotted bone nut because the slots are a little deeper. To fit to your specific guitar neck, depending on how wide or deep the nut slot is, you may need to sand the end of the nut or the tab on the bottom. In some case the thickness of the nut may need to be sanded slightly. |
Tusq
(synthetic bone) slotted nut for Fender Tele or Strat. To
install, center the nut in the slot of the neck. You may need to do
a little sanding on the ends of the nut, if so, take equal amounts off
each end. The little wedge on the bottom of the nut is used to adjust
for depth of slot. If it sits too high, it can be sanded to fit. Graph

wiring has a bassy rhythm tone in the first position of the switch.

The main difference between the '53 and the '66 is that the 1966 style

I've selected a single cutaway guitar body, Tele neck and a wired
assembly and hardware kit (SChrd20NW). What other parts do I need
to make a complete guitar? You'll need a nut for the guitar neck,
guitar strings, a Tele pickguard, and a set of Tele pickups. The body
can be oiled or finished with paint or lacquer to your own preference.
The neck should be painted or lacquered, not oiled, for wood stability.
For first time guitar builders, it may be easier to buy a lacquer
finished neck and use just the unfinished body to teach yourself painting.
If the paint doesn't work out it can be stripped with appropriate
paint stripper. All
unfinished necks are stamped "licensed by Fender" on the
heel. Neck heel width is about 56 mm. |
